Located in the South Zone of Rio, Jardim Botânico connects Gávea and Humaitá, in addition to being surrounded by Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, another postcard of Rio.

The Verdê project seeks to respect the building as much as possible, highlighting its main architectural elements—staircases, window frames, roofs, and ornaments. The contrast between contemporary and historic is evident throughout the development, and the transition between the mansion and the building creates a seamless transition between the new and the historic.

Founded in 1989, RAF Arquitetura works from conceptual design to the development of the end-to-end architectural project, including the preparation of construction documents and interior design, as well as the coordination of all complementary projects and specialized consultants.

Luiz Carlos Orsini, originally from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, has offices in Minas Gerais and São Paulo, specializing in the design and execution of landscape projects. He graduated in landscape architecture in Madrid, Spain, in 1984.
